The Elms Native Plant Nursery
Service Learning Opportunities in The Elms Native Plant Nursery
Visiting SMCPS seventh grade students learn about the importance of native plants and then work in the nursery growing them. The resulting plants are given away for school gardens as well as other community habitat restoration projects. Approximately 50 seventh grade classes visit annually.
